Hayovel
Isaiah 61:5 says, " And strangers shall stand
and feed your flocks, and the sons of the alien
shall be your plowmen and your vinedressers."
This makes me excited. Father if it be your
will lead me in this direction.

Shine For All to See
What if they think I'm just trying to be better than them?
What if they think I'm a goody-tooshu?
If I truly love God wouldn't I try to talk about
Him as much as possible. That makes me think,
"Do I really love Him?" I know I want to learn to
love Him. How many times has there been an
opportunity to tell someone about His love and
yet I chose not to and started making up excuses
like the ones above.
There are so many people that are lost and very
alone. The most important thing that we will ever
do is lead someone to Christ. The most important
thing that we will ever say is, " God loved you so
much that He gave His only son for you." And the
most important thing that we will ever see is someone
getting saved. Christ says in Matthew 5:14-15, " You
are the light of the world - like a city on a mountain
glowing in the night for all to see. Don't hide your light
under a basket! Instead, put it on a stand and let it shine
for all." Lets not hide our lights behind our uncertainties
and insecurities. Lets put it on a mountain for all to see.

Fun With Sis

Having some tea and cookies
with sisters and watching Anne
of Green Gables is a wonderfully
splendid way to spend the day.
"My copper kettle whispers merrily
and signals that it is time for tea.
The fine china cups are filled with
the brew. There's lemon and sugar
and sweet cream , too. But, best of
all there's friendship, between you
and me. As we lovingly share our
afternoon tea. "

This year Hanukkah will happen twice for us.
Daddy is out of the country and we miss him
a lot. So we will have Hanukkah now and then
again when Daddy gets home.
The sun shall be no more thy light by day : neither for brightness
shall the moon give light unto thee: but the Lord shall be unto thee
an everlasting light, and thy God thy glory (Isaiah 60:19)
After Kindling the Lights the Hallalu is Recited.
The Hallalu: "We kindle these lights (to commemorate)
the saving acts, miracles and wonders which You have
performed for our forefathers, in those days at this time,
through Your holy kohanim. Throughout the eight days
of Hanukkah, these lights are sacred, and we are not
permitted to make use of them, but only to look at them,
in order to offer thanks and praise to Your great Name for
Your miracles, for Your wonders and for Your
salvations."
