STEP

This is something I have wanted to do for a long time. I will have the chance to do things like hiking, canoeing, CPR, and other really cool things. It is a challenge I would love to take and the things you learn while you are there are good things to know. Maybe I might be able to do the next one which is in May of 2013. So I have plenty of time to get fit for it:)

Funny Character Lesson About Courage

This is a video my siblings and I made about having courage. Hope you enjoy! You can tell I was being very courageous when I uploaded this, well...... funny video on YOUTUBE. Ahhhhhhhhhhhhh! Yes but the kids had fun and I did to soooo without further ado Courage with the Fox kids.

Shavuot (Weeks)

We just finished doing Shavuot for the first time. I have developed a love for celebrating these times. I enjoyed it a lot and learned a lot as well.
 Did you know that Shavuot was when the Torah was given by Hashem on Mt. Sinai more than 3300 years ago? That is really really important. The Torah is the very foundation for life. Special meals are eaten on this day and no work is done. We also read the story of Ruth and Boaz. We danced and sang praises to Hashem. It was a wonderful time of fellowship with likeminded believers. We Blessed our Heavenly Father for providing bread from the earth for us. We read the Torah and studyed about the Holy Spirit.

Ruffle Scarf

I had a difficult time with this scarf. I was doing more seam ripping than sewing:) Next time I make it though it should be much easier. I am going to try it with different kinds of material. This one is made out of Jersey material.
